Independent living for male residents in Northampton
Wycliffe House offers a dedicated rehabilitation service for men who have been diagnosed with a neurological condition, the service can support those with associated past or present drug and alcohol addictions.
In addition to a diagnosis of a neurological condition and addiction, service users may present with cognitive impairments, communication disorders, and challenging behaviour. Wycliffe House is happy to admit service users who lack capacity to consent to treatment under a DoLS.
Our treatment service is based on the Bio-Psycho-Social model of addiction and is psychology driven in its methodology, seeking to engage service users through a highly empathic and non-judgmental approach.
At Wycliffe House we recognise that addiction affects every aspect of the individual’s life and therefore our treatment programmes focus not only on the addiction itself but other dimensions of the individual’s life including family role, work skills, and mental health.
