As you are aware we are in unprecedented circumstances with the continuing spread of COVID-19 and as such have reviewed our visiting arrangements across all of our services.
We understand how important it is for patients to receive visitors, however, we need to ensure the safety and well – being of all our patients.
Therefore, with immediate effect we are not accepting any visitors into all services unless there are exceptional circumstances, for example a patient who is on an end of life pathway.
Any exceptional circumstances should be discussed with the Registered Manager.
We have also taken the decision to cancel all community access visits linked to patients’ rehabilitation.
Can we please ask you to work with us to find other ways to support communication during this difficult time.
As guidelines are changing daily we are keeping the situation under regular review and we will update you accordingly, as it is not our wish to restrict visiting unnecessarily.
We would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that as an organisation we are doing everything to ensure the safety of all our patients.
We would like to thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.
