Sari Teasdale

Sari works alongside our Group Therapy Managers to offer a slicker and more standardised service to those people who come into our care. She ensures that all our therapy processes are maintained and that we are keeping abreast of the latest developments and standards in therapeutic care.

Sari initially worked in the NHS in paediatrics after qualifying as a SaLT. After a year or so, she had a mixed post of paediatrics and the area of adult acquired conditions, then moved across into adult only. She has had experience at all levels of a person’s recovery from acute, to inpatient rehabilitation then into the community. She moved from the NHS to Christchurch Group in 2014 as a band 6 SaLT. She then took on the role of Unit Therapy Lead and now has the group role of therapy operations manager.

Sari is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and her specific areas of expertise are tracheostomy and prolonged disorders of consciousness. She is a fully trained SMART assessor.
