Service Manager – Orchard House, Oxfordshire
Alex qualified with a degree in Clinical Psychology from ISMAI, Porto in Portugal. After working as a psychologist for 15 years in Portugal, where she worked with children, Veterans of War, PTSD & HIV patients, Alex moved to the UK in 2007. She managed residential services for spinal injury patients, learning disability, brain injury and challenging behaviour, before becoming development manager of ABI services in the south of the UK. Alex joined Christchurch Group in 2015 to manage Orchard House in Oxfordshire.
Alex says the best thing about her job is being able to make a difference in peoples’ lives, working with an amazing team of people. When not working, Alex loves music, good food and collecting watches – she has 50! And her biggest problem is only having two wrists. Alex does not like marmite but is willing to learn how to properly appreciate it...
